Filter properties at a glance:

The water to be filtered is poured into the upper reservoir. Gravity causes the water to flow through the ceramic filter cartridges (no pumping required). The pure, filtered drinking water is collected in the lower reservoir and can be conveniently drawn into a drinking vessel via the spout. The gravity filter ensures an optimal, safe water supply for hydration, food preparation, and oral hygiene, even while traveling .

The gravity water filter is easy to store and has no expiration date. The filter cartridges can be stored unused for at least 10 years. Suitable for filtration of freshwater and rainwater.

The filter housing is durable and easy to clean. The filter cartridge has a ceramic outer shell that reliably traps bacteria and dirt. The ceramic is impregnated with a fine silver layer to prevent external contamination. It can be easily cleaned with a brush under cold running water. The filter core consists of compressed activated carbon, which traps drug residues and odor- and taste-altering substances. Furthermore, the inner activated carbon core is coated with heavy metal-binding earth, which traps, among other things, lead.

In accordance with the recommendations of the Federal Government's civil protection concept, it is suitable as a water filter for crisis preparedness in disaster and emergency situations.

This water filter comes with two Ultra Sterasyl filter elements . It operates with two filter cartridges simultaneously.

The two ceramic activated carbon filter elements should be replaced every 6 months or after 3000 liters of water.

If there is a visible build-up of dirt and the filter performance is decreasing, the external cleaning of the ceramic filter can be carried out by normal brushing.
