Vitamin D3 is the physiologically active vitamin D. It is essential for the correct function of numerous organs and for bone metabolism. It supports the body in maintaining bones, muscle function, and teeth. It also contributes to a good immune system and is important for the utilization of calcium.

Vitamin D is mainly formed in the skin by the sun, with the help of UVB rays. In winter months, due to reduced sunlight in our latitudes, vitamin D deficiency is common. However, even in summer, the use of sunscreen inhibits the synthesis of vitamin D3 in the skin. Therefore, the German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends supplementing the diet with vitamin D3.

The production of vitamin D3 follows the same process as the body's own production via the skin. In the manufacturing process, for example, a component of natural yeast cells is irradiated with UV light, creating vitamin D3.

Through the combination with MCT oil, which is obtained from the best coconut oil, our vitamin D3 can be particularly well absorbed and metabolized by the body. This means our vitamin D drops have high bioavailability.

MCT Oil
MCT stands for Medium-Chain Triglycerides, i.e., medium-chain fatty acids. Specifically, these are caprylic and capric acid. MCTs are metabolized significantly better than other fats. In addition, they are preferably used by the body for quick energy production and are not stored.

Recommended intake: Take 1 drop with a meal every 5th day (= 5000 I.U. / 125 µg)*
